Let the Raptor Institute guide your girl scouts through the process of earning a unique Raptor Researcher patch. Scouts will learn about the different raptor species found throughout San Diego County, while meeting these raptors up close and personal. This fun, interactive, 60 minute presentation will focus on identifying local raptors, learning about their biology, adaptations, and importance of conservation. Scouts will learn what they can do to appreciate and protect the habitats that these amazing birds call home. They will leave with a new respect for local wildlife and their very own Raptor Researcher patch. This workshop is geared towards Girls Scouts at the Brownie and Daisy level. Cost is $12 per scout and is suitable for groups of 15 – 40 scouts.

We also offer this workshop on various dates throughout the year at Girl Scout Headquarters to give scouts the chance to team up to meet the minimum requirements. Please contact us for more information or to schedule this program.
