Let the Raptor Institute guide your girl scouts through the process of earning their Animal Habitats badge. We’ll teach your scouts about the different raptor habitats found throughout San Diego County. While meeting different raptor species that call these habitats home, scouts will learn the importance of protecting these places for our wild neighbors. This fun, interactive, 60 minute presentation will satisfy the first four requirements needed to obtain the Animal Habitats badge. Scouts will need to “take action” and complete the fifth step in protecting animals habitats on their own in order to fully earn their badge. This workshop is geared towards Girls Scouts at the Junior level. Cost is $12 per scout and is suitable for groups of 15 – 40 scouts.

We also offer this workshop on various dates throughout the year at Girl Scout Headquarters to give scouts the chance to team up to meet the minimum requirements. Please contact us for more information or to schedule this program.
