    Come learn about local San Diego raptors and enjoy the other activities that San Diego Audubon has planned for their free Family Day as part of the 2017 Bird Fest. The Raptor Institute will be presenting our educational raptors from 10:30 - 11:30 in the Starboard Room, but there will be other fun events running from 10am - 3pm for the whole family to enjoy.     Come join us at Petco Park for the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering's EXPO Day. This free event features hundreds of booths geared toward inspiring STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education future careers for our youth. Come meet The Raptor Institute's educational ambassadors and learn about the science of raptors. Have fun exploring all the other amazing free booths with your friends and family.     The Borrego Springs Desert Birding Festival runs from March 15th through March 17th. The festival features various speakers, along with guided birding tours to explore the many spring migrants that travel through the area. The Raptor Institute will be giving a lecture on native raptor species focusing on biology, habitats, natural history, and conservation. Come out for the event and be sure to catch our talk and meet our local animal ambassadors.
